Its popular festivities are numerous: the Baile Retro championships, international dance competition, takes place during February; every year, on the first Thursday in June, the district of “La Carihuela” celebrate “El Día del Pescaíto” and offer a sampling to the those who assist; the festivity of “La Virgen del Carmen” on the 16th of July, with a splendid maritime procession; “El Día del Turista”, on the first Thursday in September; and, to end this range of festivities; “La Romería de San Miguel”, the town´s Patron Saint, in September, together with its main festivities during which the Patron Saint is carried in procession through the town´s streets.
