Here the Holy week and the approach to Sorbas is exciting. Along the road you will see a row of houses hanging to a canyon of the River Aguas and the Arab structure of the town contrast with the Christian buildings such as the santa maría church, constructed over the former mosque, or the mansions of the Duke of valoig and of the duke of Alba.
But for thrills they don’t match the natural scenery of Karsts de Yeso, whose caves you can explore with guides and be enthralled by the columns, coral, stalactites and stalagmites of crystalline gypsum that cast a white gleam in the darkness.
Don´t miss one of the most interesting caves are the agua eight kilometres long and the covedura, 120 metres deep. Karsts de Yeso is without a doubt a superb site for the speleologist.
