If you go in October you can attend the fair of San Lucas, the second oldest in Andalusia, which waits for you to enjoy it at all its levels.
You can spend the morning buying traditional handicrafts in the Regional Handicraft Fair. You will find pottery, ceramics, basketwork, hides and leather from the world over so that you are sure to find a present to take home.
In the bullring plaza you can also see more than two hundred horses from the best herds that come to the Regional Purebred Spanish Horse Show.
Or if you come in December the best time is during the Fiesta del mosto y la Tostá as the local residents will invite you to sample their wines and olive before recommending that you travel the tidal marshes of the River Odiel, a well-preserved natural area where you can watch the elegant flamingos that nest there.
