Malaga- Main fair is in mid-august commemorating the incorporation of Malaga into the kingdom of Castille in 1487.

The Virgen del Carmen is the patron of fishermen and in July most coastal localities celebrate a safe year’s fishing by parading the her image in a procession of boats along the coast.

Beautiful botanic gardens with many unique species of plants. Spring is particularly stunning when the huge wisterias flower. Open Tuesdays to Sundays 10am to 5.30pm.

A unique way to see the city on an open top bus stopping at 12 sights of interest in Malaga including the cathedral, Picasso museum. Alcazaba fortress and the port. Tickets are valid for 24hours and you can get on and off the bus as many times as you like in that time. Reduced prices are available for Malaga residents.
