Malaga- Main fair is in mid-august commemorating the incorporation of Malaga into the kingdom of Castille in 1487.

The Virgen del Carmen is the patron of fishermen and in July most coastal localities celebrate a safe year’s fishing by parading the her image in a procession of boats along the coast.
