Carcheles is located against the great massif of Sierra Mágina.
Its roots are in the most remote antiquity and through it passed Romans, Visigoths and Arabs who left for posterity, among other things the celebration of the Moors and Christians fiestas.
They are held in honour of the Virgen del Rosario in mid-august with a presentation of the Communiqués from the Forefront moors and Christians.
