Los Guajares is a town that comprises three villages:

Guajar Fondon that is located on the right bank of the river Toba, 263 metres over the sea level and 464 inhabitants;
Guajar Faraguit is currently the head of the town. Here there are the Town Hall and most of the public services. It is 281 metres over the sea level, has 764 inhabitants and is 22 Kms from Motril.
Guajar Alto, is in the highestmost part of the valley, 350 metres over the sea level and is the smallest village of them, with just 283 inhabitants.
