El Candado is a short but challenging nine-hole
course situated in a valley just five kilometreseast of
Málaga.
Design by Carlos Fernández Caleya and opened in 1968,
making it one of the first gofl courses on the Costa del
Sol.
El Candado features small undulating greens and rolling
fairways.

highways towards Motril take the exit for El Candado. The
course, which is about 7 kilometres from the centre of Málaga,
can be seen from the highway.
