Torremolinos is one of Spain’s top tourist resorts and the
epitome of Package tourism is a busy town to the west of Malaga.
It was one of the first places in the country to open itself to
tourism in the early 60s and consists of rows of high-rise apartment
and hotel blocks, although the area to the west has residential
streets of townhouses and villas.
The town has recently undergone a major facelift and improvements
include the extension of the seafront to Los Alamos in the east.
