The central of population of this small municipality of the Sierra de Segura region sits at the foot of mount Peñalta, so the pines that are reforesting its slopes come right down to the edge of village, giving a special mountain atmosphere. Tourism has not invaded this region which preserves interesting natural areas for lovers of nature and tranquillity, only broken by the gentle gurgle of the local springs and the water that flows from its many fountains.
