Beas de Segura nestled in the western part of the Sierra de Segura, since the sixteenth century has celebrated the festivities of San marcos in which the protagonist are the roped bulls. The fiesta which has been declared of Tourist Interest in Andalusia begins on 23 April with the Little San Marcos celebration, the running of small or hornless yearling calves known as emboladas.
On the 24th occurs the running of the roped bulls, bulls with a rope around their horns that allows them mobility.
On the 25th you are assured excitement by the release of bulls
into the closed-off streets before and after the procession of the
image, which is escorted throughout by two decorated and roped fighting
bull calves.
