This exclusive area, entering the region of Andalucia, is one of the last remaining unspoilt coastal areas in the whole of Spain. The province is steeped in history which can be dated back to Phoenician times and beyond, this history being reflected in its picturesque towns and villages.

Almeria province is Europe’s sunniest and driest region with more than 330 days of sunshine a year, an average temperature of 20c, and where the constant sea breezes temper the heat of the summer. A major investment in infrastructure has been undertaken in Almeria over the past decade. It is now served by the new `Mediterranean Motorway` connecting directly, northwards to the French motorway network and southwards along the Costa del Sol towards Gibraltar.
