Sierra de las nieves, Tolox

LOCATION: Sierra de las Nieves. Tolox- Cañada de las Carnicerías.
TIME: Five hours.

DESCRIPTION: Tolox will be our starting point. We must walk along a track that makes its way nortwards although it soon turns eastwards in order to reach the Piloncillo through a valley where there is a brook called the Horcados. We must walk on along the right side.

Disregarding the junctions to the right and to left, we shall reach the foot of the Piloncillo, from where the lowest part of the valley can be seen. We must walk on along the brook, in a landscape dominated by poplars and fir trees.

The course of the brook ends up in a smooth area from where the Cañada de las Carnicerías can be seen.
