Sierra de Cazorla. Cañada de las Fuentes - Puertollano - Ascent to the Cabañas

Time: 3 hours.

The Cañada de las Fuentes is located in the sorroundings of the source of the river Guadalquivir. From this place there are three possibles walking tours along 3 different forest tracks, to Pozo Alcón, Vadillo Castril and Quesada.

We shall make our way to Pozo Alcón, The Cabañas peak is on the left of the mountain pass, to the east, to reach the top we shall walk on round it first along its southern slope, to the right and upwards, and when reaching the edge along its southeastern side, we shall ascend straight to the top.
